Each year, Ceres offers graduates permanent employment as part of a two-year rotation programme.
In addition to four, six-month placements across the business, Ceres has engaged the Institution of Mechanical Engineers’ (IMechE) training services to support its Graduate Rotation Programme.
Graduates benefit from training courses with the IMechE, covering Time Management, Communication and Influencing Skills, Project Working for Engineers, Financial Management and Presentation Skills.
At Ceres, each graduate is assigned a mentor who guides them through the Monitored Professional Development Scheme (MPDS) to Chartership and ensures they have the training and support to submit regular project reports and feedback.
The course is very well-structured with plenty of interesting materials and discussions. The relaxed atmosphere helped everyone to participate. Fantastic tutors!
Ceres currently has seven employees, including three in their first career role, progressing through the MDPS system and the IMechE courses help to enhance their existing qualifications and to develop new competencies and capabilities.
The application process for the 2020 programme has closed now. Recruitment for the summer 2021 scheme will open later this year.
The course is helpful and taught us many skills we could actually apply in the future. Both the trainers were very good, answered all of our questions and gave us lots of very detailed feedback.
